Reflected light

Laura Pellizzari runs our world and time with the awareness of being at stake, absorbed and abducted by an inner energy that drives her to a constant search for expression. With an open, attentive look, she looks at the artistic landscape, but it is from life from which she draws inspiration for her works, reworking the themes of nature through the accomplishment of time. In the Totem, where life and death appear united and indivisible, the infinite theme of human existence is highlited. The artistic vision of Laura moves between figurative and conceptuality with evocative variants, as in the Accumulations that appear in a color pattern full of substances and points of demarcation between reality and alchemical visions. Her evolution marks a personality open to continuous contemporary research, made up of figured objects, but also emblematic and conceptual, the result of a deep personal culture ranging from ancient to contemporary. When assembling the work, inserting and jumping the object, Laura always tries to simplify. She plays wisely with the color that slips and fills the surfaces with a pseudo-kaleidoscope button of lights vibrating and striking in the soul, creating with countless metallic reflexions countless sensations. Enamels thus become a continuous catharsis of the earth and the expressive tension of the artist, harmonizing her need for material contact and reflecting at the same time light, seduction and rebirth of the substance itself. The set of solutions creates interlaces of plans and compositions that evoke not only light and shadow, elegance and sensuality, but point to a wider psychological resonance, almost a game, prologue to future abstractions.
